Here are some screenshots I took during the first beta weekend.

I'm having a good time with it so far.

Me too, love this game. It does have some kinks to work out but overall I'm really enjoying it.

Everything about this game is absolutely perfect in my opinion, with the exception of a few bugs that are to be expected in beta. I had the highest hopes going into this and somehow managed to have them surpassed. I can't wait for the final release. :D

I'm not really interested in *hacking* this game. However, we will be doing a bot.

During character creation the following byte values represent the 5 races:
Both the Asura and Sylvari were restricted during the first beta weekend, so there you go... the first GW2 hack ever published to the Internet and you saw it first at MMOElites. :)

The Asura's home city and surrounding area was complete although it was missing a lot of voiceovers.

The Sylvari home city was incomplete and could not be visited. None of the Sylvari voiceovers were completed yet, but you could play through the first boss fight before getting stuck in the instance.

I think a bot will be extremely challenging to write given the game's focus on movement and visual cues. (dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge!)

I think "assisted play" would be fairly easy though, such as determining if an opponent has a movement-restricting debuff. An opponent that cannot move is prone to all the especially nasty abilities that require a stationary target.

That's fun! I didn't even think of doing something like that, after I found xyz and speed (which did work), I was screwing around with swimming - seeing if I could find something along the lines of switching to regular weapons under water and use swimming outside of water ect ect. I didn't find anything though :(

Hah! That's an awesome idea. I would love to run around launching "land torpedoes" from my Asura engineer, and the amphibious mines are a near instant win when used point-blank.

I saw a couple people in wvw that were moving exceptionally fast, even while snared, like faster than even the speed buffs stacked give. With the complete anonymity in wvw, I'd imagine that there will be a lot of shady play going on. Im still wondering how they plan to combat cheating, since you can't report someone directly in wvw since you can't see their name, its not like warhammer where you can report Johnnybw for fly hacking in a serpents passage.

The game was absolutely amazing, honestly if they released right now, even with all the bugs, I wouldn't care/complain because the wvw aspect of the game is mind-blowing and absolutely addicting, even tho there is minimal rewards for wvw (I think in the current state it was just the Hero Badges for the godly loot) and wvw seemed to be something that they had mostly worked out in terms of everything is going to work come release.

Honestly I think a target assistant in wvw would be cool, something that identifies enemy classes and labels them via class/hp%/distance would be awesome (think like nHUd that dnL made for WAR). And a radar, of course, im sure AN will be lookin' out for speed/gravity/jump/dodge/fly hacking.

Cant wait for next OBW tho thats for sure :)
